I'M SO TIRED!!!!

hehe i finished my FIRST day of work today in INDIA ^_^
oh boy i am exhausted-- didn't realize how tiring wearing heels (even wedges) for entire day could be... must be because i've been living in berkeley for too long ;-;

hehe i promised lots of pictures and updates, so i guess i'll do that soon? :D but first i have to go shower and eat dinner, maybe find some other interns here :)

SO... for those of you that do not know yet.. (which should be most people but for some reason, word got out pretty fast so people i didn't tell knew, and when i got to socal, i started spontaneously telling random people at really random times ?_?...)
hehe i got an internship in INDIA (where i am now)!! it's a program called InStep, with Infosys, one of the largest IT and business consulting companies in India. I must say, their campus is phenomenal. There are just shy of 100,000 employees in Infosys, and 16,000 alone are in the Bangalore site, where there are nearly 50 buildings spanning 90 acres of land. @_@ and on top of that, they are so ECO-Friendly!!!!! ^u^ let's see-- their trees are all imported (hmm.. i'm not sure of that is green-initiative...) but their fountains and trees are all watered by recycled water; their paper is recycled paper; and some other things they do are all sustainable (sustainability has its own department) but i forgot what they are. >.< and all the interns here are SOO Nice! they're all amazing and really friendly; many (if not majority) are MBAs (even a PhD from wharton-- lol i tried to ask him if he knew my undergrad friends >x<) but o my gosh... before i dive into my GREAT amazing SUPER adventure (which starts off way back in berkeley... and includes my super awesome flight TO india [insert Singapore adventure here!!] ...) --i need to shower. hehe

I think I am homesick.

yesterday (it's now past 12) i saw a shooting star for the first time in my life.
i saw a number of them (maybe 7? :) four for sure!) because i went on an astronomy trip to vollmer peak in tilden park to watch the *'~*Leonid Meteor Shower*'~*!

it was a beautiful sky.
i'm very glad i took this class (astronomy c10 with professor alex filippenko) because i never took the time to appreciate the skies in the past. now, every time darkness falls, as i walk past the campanile, i look up at the sky and i see a magnificent sky filled with stars. i realize how small i am, how amazing the world is and how beautiful life and creation can be. then, i think to myself, how great thou art. His glory and majesty are amazing. I get so caught up in life that I forget the really important, daily wonders around me.

i want to spend time with my family. I don't care about plans. Have fun eating or playing games... or even bowling darn it! I wonder if i'll ever be truly satisfied with what i have.
